The Rebel Joan Of Arc 2721 Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, celebrated each other and Valentines at their February Meeting in The Woodlands.
An Instillation of their youngest new RJOA Member: TAYLOR LEHR was preformed and celebrated by all. CINDY DITTRICH was also honored at her Presentation with her two new Ancestor Certificates by Registrar DANEAN MYERS. RJOA Historian ANITA STEVENS introduced Sons of the Confederate Veterans Writer and Speaker, Andrew Petty, for the Program: “Angels On The BattleField”. The Room was decorated by LAURA McCRACKEN, with Valentines donated by Member: ELAINE COLLINGS. ELAINE also handed out the Poem: “Why am I a Daughter of the Confederacy” to all her RJOA Sisters there, and ELAINE mailed this poem to every member in her RJOA Chapter! At the close of the meeting, drawings were held for all these darling Valentine decorations, and that was so much Fun! KATHERINE TAGLIENTI also brought “gifties” of precious Valentines remembrances for each of her RJOA Sisters! ELAINE COLLINGS gave each of her Valentine Sisters various styles of Fun Red Heart Shaped Glasses, and they all brought their Red RJOA Fans that had been given to them before by ELAINE. What a Fun Picture all these treasurers made, and more new memories not to be forgotten! This picture describes what just a few members do as “extra” love for their Chapter, but this chapter is filled with a special love and commitment from each of their members, and led by RJOA President JENNY LEHR.
