Lake Conroe Centennial Lions Club held their annual Cruisin’ Car Show at the Walden Yacht Club and Breakwater Grill parking lot on Saturday October 12th.

Over 32 cars were being displayed by their proud owners of these unique cars: some classic, some newer but all special!  Hundreds showed up to view the cars, enjoy the live music, eat the tasty burritos served by the Breakwater Grill and vote for their favorite car to win The People’s Choice Award.

There was also a raffle/drawing table filled with lots of items donated by area merchants including Bernhardt Winery, Jeff’s Jewelry, Armoire’s and Pizza Shack.  And the weather was perfect!   Awarded that day were 12 Medals and 4 Blue Ribbons.  Along with the People’s Choice Award were special Raymond Ribbon Awards for Best Truck, Most Unusual and Best in Show.

A big thank you goes out to the judges (They had a tough job as the cars all deserve awards!), to Lake Conroe Centennial Lions Club volunteers, to LCCLC Car Show Chairman Jana Lee Jessen but mostly to all who attended this special event to support all of the good work that the Lions do for our community!  Roar!
