For those looking to get a jump on the upcoming shopping season, five Montgomery County holiday markets are in the works for November. 

Canton in Conroe and West Conroe Baptist Church’s Winter Market kick things off this Saturday and other events continue throughout the month in Conroe and The Woodlands.

Here is what shoppers need to know about these upcoming shopping markets:

Canton in Conroe 

Canton in Conroe Holiday Market is in its 14th year at Wilkinson Elementary school at 2575 Ed Kharbat Drive. Hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. 

Canton is a city east of Dallas known for its First Monday Trade Days and it is regarded as having the largest flea market in America.

The Conroe market with free admission promises approximately 95 vendors both inside and outside, food stands and performances from local community groups.

West Conroe Baptist Church Winter Market 

This Winter Market is in its 12th year at the church at 1855 Longmire Road in Conroe. This event is also 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Approximately 60 vendors with free admission.

Montgomery County Nutcracker Market 

This Conroe holiday tradition is set for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 11 at the Lone Star Convention Center, 9055 Airport Road in Conroe.

More than 230 vendors are expected featuring everything from clothing, gourmet food, jewelry, decor and fashion trucks. 

Entry is $5. Teachers, military and first responders with ID and children may enter for free. No strollers allowed before 2 p.m.

Junior League Holiday Market 

The Junior League Holiday Market is a major fundraiser for the nonprofit Junior League of The Woodlands, Inc. serving the area of north Harris County and Montgomery County.

All proceeds from this event will go directly into programs addressing food insecurity, teen empowerment and assisting women, children and families in the community.

ON YOURCONROENEWS.COM: Montgomery County cemeteries seek sponsors for Wreaths Across America Day

The event at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center is set for Nov. 17-19 with a preview party from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Nov. 16. Friday and Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Strollers are welcome Friday and Saturday after 2 p.m. and all day Sunday. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 18, Santa will be there for photos.

Big Top Shopping Festival

The Big Top Shopping Festival will take place in downtown Conroe at Heritage Place Park Nov. 18-19. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

All vendors will be outdoors. Free admission with strollers and wagons welcome. 

Featured items include boutique clothing, accessories, shoes, home decor, furniture, gourmet food, dips, sauces, art, yard decorations and holiday items.
