Here are June activities around Conroe.

Noël Coward’s comedy Private Lives is full of biting wit, confrontations, and a lot of lunacy on stage through Sunday, July 6 at the Owen Theatre with The Players Theatre Company. Reserve tickets at playerstheatrecompany.com.

Over at the Lone Star Convention Center the public is invited to shop for the newest firearms, ammo, knives, coins, camouflage and trade in their older gun for something different at the High Caliber Gun and Knife Show Saturday, June 28th 9:00am-5:00pm and Sunday, June 29th from 10:00am-4:00pm. Patrons under 18 must be with a parent. Law Enforcement Officers receive free admission in uniform.

Saturday, June 28th is the Conroe Symphony Orchestra “Celebrate America” with Gen Steven A. Hummer, USMC (Ret.) as the Master of Ceremonies! You must have a ticket even though the show is FREE at First Methodist Conroe, located at 4308 W. Davis Street. This is sold out-but you never know. Call the office at 936-760-2144, if you are unable to make the show so someone else can have your ticket..

Mimi’s on Main is a fun place to be when you need inspiration for a décor item for your home or a gift for someone. Located on Main in downtown Conroe, they have a lot of vintage items and unique treasures. Another great shop to browse is Conroe Central Market. In the old JC Penney store on Thompson, you won’t believe the stuff you see in their store that will bring back fond memories.

Stay cool. Until next week!

Be safe. Shop Local.
