Relive the magic of animation as the Conroe Symphony Orchestra brings to life the unforgettable scores that have accompanied generations of beloved characters with Tunes from the Tunes on Saturday, October 19th at 2:30 at the First Methodist Conroe, 4308 W. Davis. Hear classics from Steamboat Willie, Donald Duck, and Tom and Jerry all the way to the modern digital animation of Beauty and the Beast and The Incredibles.
Step into the Spirit of Halloween on Saturday, October 19th from noon-3:00pm with “Voices of the Past” presented by the Montgomery Historical Society with a tour of two historic cemeteries founded in the 1800’s. Get tickets at www.MHS-TX.org.

The 3rd Annual Child Advocates “Cornament” benefiting Child Advocates of Montgomery County will be on Sunday, October 20 starting at 12:00 noon at B-52 Brewing Co. It will be a fun, family event with awards for the first, second, and third-place teams, as well as fun prizes for Best Team Name, Best Dressed Team, and Most Team Spirit. There will also be live music, one-of-a-kind commemorative pint glasses (with drink refills included), food trucks and treats, and activities for the kids. Bags fly high at 1:00pm. Judge Echo Hutson will host the 5th Annual “Flowers on the Lake” event to honor the resilience of survivors
and commemorate the lives lost to domestic violence on Tuesday, Oct.15th at the Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Park, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The event is being held in collaboration with the Montgomery County Women’s Center, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, and the Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Commission. The free community awareness event aims to bring together individuals across Montgomery County to stand in solidarity against domestic violence.
