HOUSTON, TX — Crime Stoppers of Houston and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division are urgently seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for a tragic Hit and Run – Failure to Stop and Render Aid – Fatality.

Reward of up to $5,000 leading to the arrest of the suspect(s) involved in this case.

On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at approximately 10:50 p.m., two individuals were riding their bicycles along the west side of the roadway in the 10200 block of Veterans Memorial Drive in Houston, Texas. During the incident, the male victim was initially struck by a passing vehicle, which remained at the scene. As the female victim rushed to assist him, both were struck by a second, unknown vehicle.

The second driver fled the scene without stopping to render aid. Tragically, both Daniel Perez and Krystal Calvillo succumbed to their injuries at the scene.

The families of Daniel and Krystal are pleading with the community for answers and justice. Crime Stoppers and law enforcement need your help to identify the suspect(s) and bring them to justice.
