Elderly couple found dead in Conroe home ruled a murder-suicide, authorities say

An elderly couple found dead inside their Conroe home Tuesday afternoon was a murder-suicide, authorities say. 

Conroe residents Ilias Karamanolis, 74, and Maria Paragois, 76, were found dead by deputies around 2:36 p.m. at the 17100 block of Spindle Oaks Drive, according to a release from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators determined that Paragois was the victim in the murder-suicide, the release continues. 

Deputies arrived at the married couple’s house for a welfare check and found their decomposing bodies.
