For “Three Meals,” the news crew features three restaurants in a state. For Texas, they visited Conroe and two central Texas towns.

A few of the other states featured include Virginia, Wisconsin, Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, Georgia and North Carolina.

The visit to Honor Cafe started with a phone call from the show’s producers.

The eatery just off the downtown Conroe square is owned by Chris and Mandi Sadler. Chris is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and former law enforcement officer in the Houston area.
