Attention all fathers and daughters! Get ready for a memorable evening of dinner, dancing, and more at the annual Daddy Daughter Dance. The event will take place on Saturday, February 17th from 6:00 pm-9:00 pm at the brand new Hyatt Regency Hotel in Conroe. Daughters of ages 4 and up are welcome! The cost is $125 per couple and $40 for each additional child. If you are a resident of the city of Conroe, you will receive a 25% discount. Please contact the C.K. Conroe United Youth Soccer League

Register for the Conroe United Spring Soccer Season organized for boys and girls aged 4-13, where the primary focus is on developing skills, having fun, and ensuring fair play. The season includes 8 games, and we will provide jerseys for all players. Players are required to provide shorts, socks, and shin guards. All practices and games will take place Conroe, with games on Saturdays. The registration fee is $75, with Conroe residents receiving a 25% discount. Please note that all players must attend a mandatory skill evaluation on January 27. This evaluation will help our staff in creating balanced teams for the season. Volunteer opportunities are available for coaches, assistant coaches, and team parents. Coaches must pass a background check and attend a coach’s training and meeting. Conroe Youth Flag Football

Adult Basketball Leagues

Are you looking for some friendly competition? Register your basketball team for the Winter Adult Basketball League at the Westside Recreation Center! The league format is 4 vs 4 cross-court on Saturdays, and 5v5 full court on Tuesdays, with an 8-game season for players who are 18 years or older. Games are played on Saturday or Tuesday evenings, and the champions will receive a T-shirt and a team trophy. The team entry fee is $387. FREE Disc Golf Clinic

Lone Star Disc hosts clinics on the second Saturday of every month to teach people of all ages the fundamentals of the sport. The clinics are held at the Madeley Pavilion at Owen Park, located at 10245 Owen Drive, and start promptly at 9am. Families are welcome to participate! During the clinics, instruction is provided by the instructor using temporary baskets set up at Owen Park. No registration is required, so feel free to drop in. American Society of Karate

We’ve Got Spirit, How About You! Join the Conroe Cheer Stars this spring and learn cheers, jumps, pyramids and basic gymnastics to perform at games and special events. Students will perform at three flag football games, and one City of Conroe special event.  The registration fee is $130. Safe Sitter@ Home

Safe@Home is a 90-minute program designed for students entering grades 4-6 to be safe when they are home alone. Students learn how to practice safe habits, how to prevent unsafe situations, and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies. Safe Sitter

Fresh Friday at OJ

The cost of admission is $10, and Conroe residents receive a 25% discount. Preregistration is highly encouraged as space is limited. Looking for a low-impact and effective way to stay in shape?  The Conroe Aquatic Center offers a variety of water exercise classes in several locations including Water Walking, Deep Water Jogging, Water Aerobics, Aquatic Rhythms and Aquatic Boot Camp. 60+ Dance and Mixer

Singles and couples age 60+ are invited to enjoy a variety of bands and genres while dancing country, oldies, line dancing, and mixers. The dance is held at the Activity Center (1204 Candy Cane Lane) and the cost is $5 per person at the door. Doors open at 5:30pm, dance starts at 6:30pm and ends at 9:30pm. Before and After School Recreation Program

Space is still available for one of the best and most affordable before and after-school programs in Conroe. After-school sites include Anderson, Armstrong, Austin, Bozman, Creighton, Patterson, Reaves, Runyan, Sam Houston and Wilkinson. Children attending Giesinger, Rice, and Cryar are transported to the Oscar Johnson, Jr. Community Center. Children attending Hope and Milam are transported to Creighton via CISD transportation. Children attending Travis will be escorted over to Sam Houston. The Before School Program will be provided to the following schools: Anderson, Armstrong, BB Rice, Bozman, Cryar, Geisinger, Patterson, Reaves, Runyan, Sam Houston, Travis and Wilkinson. Conroe Senior Center

The Conroe Senior Center provides fellowship and fun through a variety of activities for active adults 60 and up. Bingo, Cards and dominoes, Painting, Crafts, Movies, Holiday Celebrations, Guest Speakers and other Special Activities are all part of each week. Connect with friends, socialize, and remain connected to the community. The center is now open Monday – Friday from 8am-3pm, and lunch is served daily.
