The Conroe Noon Kiwanis Club kicked off its fall activities with the annual Kiwanis Kids Day in the Park Sept. 9 at Owen Park.  In conjunction with the City of Conroe Kid Fishing Derby, hundreds of individuals enjoyed inflatable events, a climbing wall, petting zoo, trackless train, activities from the Conroe Police Department and Conroe Fire Department, and more.

On Saturday, Nov. 4, the club will host a Pickleball doubles tournament at PALA Pickleball in Spring. Play begins at 1 p.m. and is open to beginner, intermediate and advanced players. The cost is only $50 and three matches are guaranteed.  All proceeds benefit youth scholarships.  The club was able to offer scholarships to five students this year; two from Conroe High School, one from Montgomery High School, one from Willis High School and one from Covenant Christian School.

The Conroe Noon Kiwanis Club is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization that has been serving Conroe and the surrounding community for over 70 years.  The club meets on Wednesday at Noon at Saltgrass Steak House (810 I-45 North) and is always looking for new members who are ready to serve the community.
