Conroe Founder’s Day Board Members are proud to present this Special Plaque Recognition for “Conroe Citizen of the Year 2025” to JOE HALITI, for all his benevolent, patriotic, and philanthropic work. Mr. JOE HALITI is the owner of Joe’s Italian Restaurant in Conroe, who has fed many thousands of first responders during trying times for Conroe and Montgomery County. On May 30th, CFD Charter Members: MARGIE TAYLOR, CFD President: LYN HOWARD, and CFD Past Secretary:
ELAINE COLLINGS presented this beautiful plaque to MR. HALITI, outside his Restaurant in front of his beautiful painted Mural down the long side entrance of his Restaurant. Again MR. HALITI’S spirit and Patriotism is in full display for all citizens to see his appreciation to his wonderful city of Conroe. Also attending in full support is the Rebel Joan Of Arc 2721 Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy: Vice President: CHARLOTTE BELIN who is also a Citizen of Conroe and Patriotic supporter.
LYN HOWARD and ELAINE COLLINGS are also Rebel Joan Of Arc Officers and Charter Members, who give their time and efforts to their community. MARGIE TAYLOR is a “Gold Star Mother”, and CHARLOTTE BELIN serves on the RJOA Veterans Committee, as does ELAINE COLLINGS. This Plaque was designed and created by CFD President: LYN HOWARD. After the Presentation was done, All present feasted on the delicious food at Joe’s Italian Restaurant. MR. HALITI has hung this beautiful plaque, along with his other many recognitions, on the walls of his restaurant. Please stop by and support our local merchants and meet him! He is such a “Grateful and Kind Man”.

The Rebel Joan Of Arc Chapter Salutes the Conroe Founder’s Day Board Members for bringing this important recognition to a yearly/Annual Production for the Citizens of Conroe and Montgomery County, for their appreciation and awareness.
