HOUSTON — Houston and Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Brazoria and other area counties have opened warming centers for residents needing shelter from the bitter freeze that will include snow, ice and extreme cold.

We will update the list below as updates come in throughout the winter storm across Southeast Texas. 

The City of Houston will open 10 multi-service and community centers as warming centers, operating 24 hours a day from Sunday at 6 p.m. through Thursday midday. The warming centers are located at:

Hours of Operation: Monday, January 20 and Tuesday, January 21 from 7 AM to 7 PM
