The beautiful Belles of the Rebel Joan Of Arc 2721 Chapter of Montgomery County, devotedly attended the full festivities and each business session of this year’s Texas Division United Daughters of the Confederacy Convention! This Year’s Texas Division Convention was conducted by TX. Div. President, Louann Rubel, and her last Convention of her Term as President. The Rebel Joan Of Arc Chapter has been proud to serve under the outstanding and devoted leadership of President Rubel, as they have for all their TX Division UDC Presidents.
The RJOA Belles always arrive in their elegant style and full of Spirit representing their chapter, ready to celebrate the TEXAS UDC, and “each other” at their Texas Conventions! Their Private Slumber Parties of each evening only bond these sisters closer together with lots of “Gifties” and Laughter! Part of the excitement besides “who is wearing what”,,, (always guaranteed to bring more laughter), is the yummy treats each one brings to share. This Year CHARLOTTE BELIN and KAREN DeBERRY hosted one evening, and DONNA SUMMERS and DIANNE KEBODEAUX hosted the other. The generosity of these sisters amongst each other is never taken for granted, and special Thanks goes to KATHERINE TAGLIENTI, LYN HOWARD, EVELYN MILLER, KELLY HALL, JENNY LEHR, CHRISSY BARTON, and ELAINE COLLINGS.
As the excitement of Awards grows, each day and evening, the Rebel Belles sit ready to cheer with their Red Pom-Poms’s should their Chapter Name or their Member’s Name be called. This year was a real record breaker for this young Chapter that is only seven years old! Each Award is cherished for what it represents as an entire year’s work amongst 70+ Chapters across Texas. The joy and pride is felt in the energy of this amazing RJOA chapter as each Award is Announced!
