Houston Metro Go Texan Cy-Fair Cook-off
Traders Village will hold the 35th annual event featuring award-winning teams smoking brisket, chicken and ribs.
Traditional Gumbo Cookoff
Rob Ray’s Taproom is having its second annual gumbo cookoff, where attendees can taste test and the winner gets a $100 cash prize. Judging begins at noon.
Lunar New Year at Live Oak
The Memorial Park Conservancy hosts this music-based event at the Clay Family Eastern Glades’ Live Oak Court. The event is meant to celebrate the diversity of the community and will feature complimentary drinks and light bites.

Texas Leaguer Barrel Aged Evening
Texas Leaguer Brewing Co. will host this tasting event for 10 barrel-aged beers from its cellar. It takes place in the Sideline Suite and Draft Room space, and it will offer attendees a souvenir tasting glass.
D&D Character Creation Workshop
Helen Hall Library will host this workshop for Dungeons & Dragons players over 18 years old who are looking to make an adventurer for a new campaign or who need ideas for non-playable characters. The event will help guide attendees through the essentials of building a D&D character from scratch.
