The Conroe Yacht Club was founded in June of 1981. CYC is located on over 3 acres of prime waterfront property, and is the only sailing club on Lake Conroe with its own exclusive facilities.
On a 3 acre beautiful waterfront property, our members have access to 60 wet slips, as well as a large area for dry docking. In addition, there are two ramps for launching the larger boats and a beach that was created to launch small sail boats, dinghies, canoes, kayaks, windsurfers and paddle boards. The beach is also perfect for sunning and swimming.
The club house, surrounded by pine trees, has a large deck that overlooks the lake; the perfect place to contemplate a sun set, socialize with the members, or join the after race pot luck dinners.
Other unique facilities that Conroe Yacht Club offers to its members include a mast stepper, a large dry working and repair area for the boats including a hoist, a large compressor for pneumatic tools and spray painting, tool shed, storage shed, and everything you need for your boat and its upkeep.
