Heritage Museum of Montgomery County: The Heritage Museum of Montgomery County offers exhibits on the history of Montgomery County, the Mark Clapham art collection, and two adjoining houses displaying photographs and memorabilia from the Conroe Oilfield. Upcoming program: Saturday Pioneer Adventure on Aug. 5 at 1 pm – District Ranger Jason Roesner, from the Sam Houston National Forest, will be at the museum for an exciting and educational program of storytelling and children’s activities. Ranger Roesner is also bringing his special friend – Smokey Bear! The group’s monthly meeting is set for this Saturday starting at 4 p.m. Come to the general meeting to hear all about what is happening at CAL. Bella Bottega and Ardest Gallery: The Bella Bottega artist community is a collective of talented artists of various disciplines who are passionate about helping the local arts community thrive. The gallery has relocated to a new address at 25200 Grogan’s Park Drive in The Woodlands. On Aug. 26 the gallery will have a special event for National Dog Day at the gallery.
