The Montgomery County Republican Women’s Club (MCRW) celebrated its 45th anniversary on January 23, 2025, at River Plantation Golf Club, where Barbara Eddleman serves as President. District 16 State Representative Will Metcalf signed a resolution, and the Texas Federation of Republican Women (TFRW) presented a certificate honoring the milestone.
The event recognized charter members, past presidents, and awarded lifetime memberships to Marisa Rummell, Pearl Maggio, and Alice Melancon for their outstanding service at local, state, and national levels. The even was well attended with many of our local public officials in the audience to join in on the celebration.
Guest speaker Steve Munisteri, former Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas (2010–2015), Deputy Assistant to President Trump (2019), and Senior Advisor to Governor Greg Abbott, addressed attendees.
