This week we have a sister duo, Peyton 14, and Shelby 13, who were recently at the Old Baptist Church in Montgomery for a Montgomery Historical Society event. Both sisters attend Montgomery Schools, and since they know their ABCs and know how to count, there was no need asking. Peyton is a budding architect, and has drawn up 30 house plans so far, while her sister Shelby wishes to be a nurse, going in the footsteps of an aunt who has a career in the biz. In sports, Peyton plays softball, and plans on playing for Montgomery HS next year, while Shelby plays for a local slow-pitch team at left center, and has 3 doubles so far this season. At school, Peyton says her favorite subject is math, with her favorite teacher being Ms. Donaldson, who is her Ag teacher. Shelby noted science as her favorite subject, with her favorite teacher being Mr Russell, noting that he keeps the class fun and interesting. Good Luck Peyton and Shelby, and Congratulations on being MCNs ‘Kids of the Week’.
