Lake Conroe Area Republican Women recently held their October meeting at Walden Yacht Club.

President Brandie Lopez Gonzalez welcomed everyone and thanked all of those who wore purple in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.  Judge Wayne Mack started the meeting off with a prayer and then led us in the pledges to the United States and the Texas flags.  The Treasure’s report and the minutes of the previous meeting were approved and then President Brandie introduced elected officials and candidates running for office who were in attendance.

President Brandie reminded us that early voting begins on October 21st and encouraged everyone to be sure to vote.  Next Michelle Martin, VP of Membership, introduced the newest LCARW members in the audience and informed us that 2025 membership applications can now be submitted.  In addition, an amended version of our directory in now available online.

Rhonda Kadlubar announced that our Christmas Party has been scheduled and the charity that we will be supporting this year is Mosaics  of Mercy.
Congratulations to Stephanie Johnson and Linda Mock who are LCARW’s nominees for Texas Federation of Republican Women’s Tribute to Women! These hard-working ladies will be honored by TFRW in Georgetown, Texas.

The Nominating Committee was thanked for their work of preparing a slate of candidates for the 2025 LCARW Board.  The nominees introduced were: President, Molly Adame; 1st VP Programs, Sharyn Link; 2nd VP Membership, MIchelle Martin; 3rd VP Ways and Means, Linda Mock; Treasurer; Kandice Cabets; Recording Secretary, Marliese Stripling; and Corresponding Secretary, Lee Ann Seitsinger.  The candidates were then voted on and unanimously won their positions.
