The Conroe Art League annual “Christmas Is for Giving” exhibit continues at the gallery at 127 Simonton Street making it easy to shop for one-of-a-king items all made by local artists, each priced at $150 or less through January 4. The gallery is open 11:00am-4:00pm Tuesday through Saturdays.
Shop at the sales at our local stores- they have items at great prices! Three ladies’ boutiques are open and waiting for you- Mod Boutique, Main Street Merchants, and Sweet Texas Treasures. Visit them and tell your friends.
Have you seen downtown Conroe lit up at night? It is beautiful. Heritage Park has the Christmas Tree; the rooftops of the buildings are lit up and even the merchants have decorated their windows. Park the car and walk through the streets of Main, Simonton, and Thompson to see very creative windows. Do not forget to visit Mimi’s on Main and Conroe Central Market for nostalgic one-of-a-kind items that may surprise you.
Margaritaville Lake Conroe will host dinner and drink specials during designated seating times at both License to Chill and LandShark restaurants combined with discounted rates for hotel stays.
Coming up at the Crighton Theatre is “A Tribute to the Carpenters” Saturday, Jan.4. Tickets are available at CrightonTheatre.org.
Enjoy an evening of comedy with Conroe Conjuring as Max Zawacki takes the stage at the Owen Theatre for one performance Friday, Dec. 27 at 7:30pm. Tickets available at www.conroeconjuring.com.
