The Missoula Children’s Theatre returns to the Crighton Theatre for one performance Saturday, October 5 at 6:00pm as local youth perform the Wizard Of Oz. Auditions are free and will be conducted on Monday, Sept 30 from 4:30pm-6:30pm at the Crighton Theatre. If cast there is a $30 fee per child to participate. There are 60 roles available for children K-12th grade. Scholarships are available.
Nashville singer/songwriter Shaylen Carroll will be performing at Dosey Doe’s Big Barn on Thursday. October 10th, 2024. Shaylen has family in the Conroe/Montgomery area and as a teenager Shaylen spent considerable time in the area with the filming of The Wannabes television show from age 14 as a member of the pop group Savvy.
Local freelance photographer Dave Clements runs a non-profit to help disabled children with Rett syndrome, along with his friend Kevin Black, “Raising a Hand.” Shaylen is in Volume Two of the coffee table book. After her show she will be signing autographs, to include, on her page in Volume Two of the book. If you have Volume Two of the book, bring it with you to the show to get autographed.
