The Players Theatre Company at the Owen Theatre invites you to see “Bedroom Farce,” weekends Jan. 24 through Feb. 9. This is a comedy about three couples on one Saturday night leading to a hilarious outcome. Bedroom Farce is a long-running Broadway show in New York and London. Josh Baskin, a 12-year-old boy grows up overnight after being granted a wish by a Zoltar Speaks machine at a carnival. Dr. MLK, Jr Celebration will be Monday, Jan. 20 from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Montgomery County Community Center in Montgomery, 2500 Lone Star Parkway. The theme will be “Living a Purposeful Life.”
The 35th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. in The Woodlands will take place at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19, at The Woodlands Methodist Church, 2200 Lake Woodlands Drive, in the sanctuary.
The 31st Annual MLK Grande Parade be held on Jan. 20 in Midtown Houston originating on San Jacinto Street & Elgin Street beginning at 10a (CST). The parade’s theme is “Unity Through Diversity” and will feature more than 100 culturally diverse performance groups from across the nation. Learn more at www.mlkgrandeparade.org.
