Pine Market in Woodforest is celebrating all things country music when their Summer Concert Series continues 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 7.
Featuring local country artists, the concerts will take place on the first and third Fridays of the month through July at the Park at Pine Market, 885 Pine Market Avenue in Woodforest. The concerts are free.
Four-time Texas Country Music Association Songwriter of the Year winner the Will Carter Band will play June 7. Attendees can tap their toes to traditional country and folk music from the James Hollingsworth Band on June 21. The Western Express will perform their unique brand of honky-tonk July 5. The series concludes July 19 with the blend of country, rockabilly and bluegrass performed by the Michael Monroe Goodman Band.
