Why hasn't bedias creek reservoir been looked closer as for a water source for montgomery county recently?
It has been in the TRA masterplan since 1960, a unique site since 2000, and included in the reservoir site protection study. It is so close and has had many studies done on it thru region h. a good study was done in 2005 by the SJRA.
What will boater do if a drought triggers a release from lake conroe to fill up lake houston as is the plan. becuase conroe is a back water source for houston.
Some said it will take 30 yrs to build, but is is already a unique site, in the TRA plan, and many studies done on it. it could be done in 15 yrs.
With our explosive growth, we need to be more proactive.
