Located on the former site of Anchorage Marina, The Palms Marina on Lake Conroe shows no resemblance to what used to be. Completed July 4, 2008, the complex has was demolished and rebuilt into a gated Super Marina for boaters and fishermen everywhere. Over 200 brand new "full service" floating boat slips are replaced the entire harbor's old and crumbling dock facilities. Loads of additional dry boat storage units with concrete drives supplement the 200 existing storage slots. More valets and tractors were added to insure immediate placement of boats in the water for dry storage tenants. A brand new and larger "Ship's Store" and fuel dock featuring 3 grades of gasoline and diesel services boaters from Lake Conroe with low prices. Security gated executive restrooms, laundry & showers are being built adjacent to the floating marina with a covered breezeway and deck.
